Alicia Vikander has been chatting about her “action-driven” role in Bourne 5, starring Matt Damon…
She’s nominated for an Oscar for her work in The Danish Girl, but Alicia Vikander also has the small matter of filming the next Jason Bourne movie on her plate. She’s co-starring with Matt Damon in Bourne 5, that also sees director Paul Greengrass return to the series.
Chatting to The Wrap, she wasn’t giving much of the game away with Bourne 5, but did confirm that “I’m not doing the conventional action but I’m very action-driven in this film”.
She added that “but it’s not in the way most people would think”.
She also contrasted working with Bourne to the scale of the projects she’s worked on elsewhere to date. “I came from Sweden where it’s like 30, 40 people [on a set], and here on The Danish Girl, doing a British film, it’s 100″, she said.
“And then you end up on these sets, and I know on Monday or Tuesday we’re going to have 1,600 extras just in one scene”.
