Amber Heard is part of a generation that defies rules.
The Hollywood actress has seen her star rise over the last few years, not least because she wed A-lister Johnny Depp, 52, in February.
Next April Amber will reach a milestone birthday, and reveals she’s looking forward to getting older.
“I can’t wait to turn 30! Every year that goes by, I feel better about who I am and my perspective on my life. It’s a good feeling. I like to think I’m part of generation that defies rules and expectations and traditional kinds of thinking,” she smiled to US OK! magazine.
Amber also spoke about married life and confesses she’s still on cloud nine. Calling her union beautiful, the star says she loves learning more about Johnny.
Before she hits her 30s, Amber has countless projects to look forward to. Later this year the Danish Girl hits cinema screens, and the movie has already got people talking. It stars Eddie Redmayne as Einar Wegener / Lili Elbe, a man who transitions to become a woman.
“I play Oola Paulson, a ballet dancer who was one of the very few people who wasn’t shocked by Eddie’s character’s transformation. A film like this can break down a lot of taboos and misconceptions, and I’m very proud to be a part of it,” Amber stated.
Amber will also appear in the all-star London Fields, with husband Johnny also part of the line up. Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Isaacs and Theo James are other big names to feature.
