Anne Hathaway has been cast in the lead role of Live Fast Die Hot, an adaptation of the popular Jenny Mollen memoir.
Anne Hathaway has found her next project at Warner Bros, according to Deadline, and it is one that has taken the literary non-fiction scene by storm. It says here. Set to star as Jenny Mollen in a film based on her memoir, Hathaway is poised to Live Fast Die Hot.
As per the book’s own synopsis, Jenny Mollen is an actress and author best known for smaller roles in projects like Crazy, Stupid, Love. and Girls. A self-professed social media fanatic who was obsessed with “crafting the perfect tweet”, Mollen was living the kind of life where she’d invite her drug dealer over to Passover Cedar, so that he’d know they were not trying to “using him for the drugs.” However, after she becomes a mother, a new sense of responsibility led to a transformation of priorities – as discovered on international trips to Morocco and Peru.
This movie is another eclectic selection for Hathaway, who after winning an Oscar for Les Miserables reteamed with Christopher Nolan in Interstellar and then entered the world of Nancy Meyers with The Intern. She can next be seen in the monster-destroys-Tokyo genre with 2017’s Colossal. She also is set to star alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, and Helena Bonham Carter in Ocean’s Eight.
Gail Berman will produce Live Fast Die Hot, and Mollen is still attached as executive producer.
