Marvel’s next three projects are already in post-production, with the main shoots for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok all completed.
2017 sees a trio of further movies go into production, with Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War due before the cameras in the first half of the year. And so too, we learn, is the Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man & The Wasp. It’s scheduled for a July 2018 release, with Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in the lead roles. And according to Production Weekly, it’s been revealed that filming is set to commence in Atlanta in June.
The film is expected to shoot for the most part at Atlanta’s Pinewood facility, with Peyton Reed directing again. There may be a bit of location work that takes place before the production gets to the US though, although that’s not been confirmed at this stage. It seems clear that by the summer, though, Ant-Man 2 will be before the cameras.
