BEHOLD! Marvel Release A New Official Poster For Avengers: Age Of Ultron Featuring….EVERYONE
By Sarah Jayne Alexander
How MARVELlous is this?! Just over an hour ago via the official Twitter and Instagram accounts, Marvel unleashed the final poster for their forthcoming feature ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ due out in April on the world and it is holding nothing and no one back. The visual spectacle features everyone fans are eager to see in just under 2 months time. Leading earths mightiest we have the first Avenger ‘Captain America’ followed by everyone’s favourite billionaire philanthropist ‘Iron Man’ and the remaining warriors aren’t too far behind him ‘Black Widow’ ‘HawkEye’ ‘Thor’ ‘The Hulk’ and their assumed dead leader (but not obviously) ‘Nick Fury’
The poster also shows members of the villainous kind who, apart from a brief end of credit scene, have yet to feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Quicksilver played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Godzilla/Kick Ass) did feature in X-Men DOFP but in a totally different capacity and portrayed by Evan Peters (American Horror Story) and are not to be confused. This will be the first Marvel controlled franchise the character has officially starred in, and!he is not alone with that achievement, his onscreen sister ‘The Scarlett Witch’ played by Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla) is also a newbie to the MCU and together they are not to be trifled with.
You might think ‘ they totally didn’t pick up on the swirling vortex and the many people being flung around inside it’ but you would be mistaken. We totally have picked up on it, we are just choosing to ignore it and live in ignorance until April when the vortex and people are in 3D IMAX.
We have instead picked up on other things of importance…..
Looking closely, we noticed that an additional credit for composer Danny Elfman who is most famous for performing Jack Skellington’s ‘What Is This?’ and a whole other range of accolades including Ang Lee’s ‘Hulk’ Raimi’s Spider-Man movies, and Tim Burton’s Batman-has been added and we couldn’t be more excited. It is unclear as to what it is exactly he will be bringing to the film but it is almost certainly going to be incredible.
We at ShowFilmFirst aren’t fans of spoilers so we’ll leave it at that but, what we will say is that if the Avengers thought they had it rough in the first installment with Loki and his glow stick of destiny, they ain’t seen nothing yet!
Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is released via Disney Studios in the UK in April and the US May 1st.
