THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, written and directed by Wes Anderson, recounts the adventures of Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes), a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.
The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune — all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.
Ralph Fiennes stars in his first Wes Anderson film alongside many of the director’s previous collaborators including: Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton and Owen Wilson.
They are joined by Jude Law, Saoirse Ronan andTom Wilkinson, in their first Anderson film.
THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL received its World Premiere as the opening night film of the Berlin International Film Festival on 6 February 2014 ahead of it’s UK release by Fox Searchlight on 7 March 2014.
