The Six Billion Dollar Man delayed to 2018

First revealed back at the end of 2014, Mark Wahlberg’s still planning to make The Six Billion Dollar Man, a movie that he had originally was going to make with director Peter Berg (Patriots DayDeepwater HorizonLone Survivor). Damien Szifron – who has written the screenplay – is instead set to direct.

The plan had been to get the movie in cinemas on December 22nd 2017, but with filming yet to begin, that’s clearly not going to happen. The Tracking Board has confirmed that the film will be shifting to a thus-far unannounced 2018 release date instead. It’s still an active project. It’s just not been active enough to have it ready for this Christmas. More on the movie as we hear it…
