Christoph Waltz is known for playing villainous roles in many a film, ranging from D’jango Unchained as bounty hunter Dr King Shcultz, to Standartenführer Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s Monster hit Inglourious Basterds, both of which he was nominated and won a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for.

After racking up an impressive filmography in recent years, the German-Austrian born actor is showing no signs of slowing down with reports he has now been added to the already impeccable cast of Bond 24 in a ‘significant’ but undisclosed role which begins filming early next month after a final script read through. The film will be shot in various locations including London, Mexico, Austria, Morocco and Italy and will see Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 joined by with Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomi Harris, Lea Seydoux and Rory Kinnear.

Sam Mendes is again directing, making this his second Bond film, has Skyfall producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson aboard and writers Neal Purvis, Robert Wade are to be joined by Jez Butterworth on set to oversee Bond 24’s explosive action scenes.

We will keep you updated as more information becomes available on the role Waltz will be playing but, if you can’t wait for Bond 24 to hit cinemas, Tulip Fever, Tarzan. Big Eyes, and Horrible Bosses 2 are all due for release in the next 12 months.

The new Bond film is planned for November 6, 2015 release.
