Artist & venue info:

Big Spring are a melody-driven alternative rock four-piece who have been kicking up dust with their impassioned live set and explosive song-writing. Continuing true to form, the release of ‘On A Bamboo Sleeping Mat’ was released ahead of an exciting end to 2016 for the band who performed at Reading & Leeds and recently completed a UK tour with Black Foxxes. Big Spring look to let nothing stand in their way as they blaze a trail to the forefront of rock consciousness with “On A Bamboo Sleeping Mat” and EP dropping early in 2017.

Fresh from performing at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival, Brighton-based quartet Demob Happy have a sound to match their invective. Drawing on the likes of Nirvana, Queens of The Stone Age, Melvins, The Beatles, The Stooges and Kyuss for source material, Demob Happy is off-kilter pop music wrapped up in a barbed-wire body bag, dunked in honey and left out in a woodland clearing for the feral beasts to peck and pick apart. Heavy, heady and with a set of snarling teeth.

North London 3-piece PUPPY have unveiled a brilliant, brand new video for single ‘Arabella’ which pays heavy homage to shows like Knightmare and The Crystal Maze. Front-man Jock Norton on the song: “Arabella was already written and recorded before we began work on Vol II, and in a way I think it laid the foundations for the sort of thing we wanted to achieve with the whole EP; musically it had a much darker, melancholy sound than some of our earlier tracks, and lyrically it hints at elements of things like love and death in this dramatic, almost gothic horror kinda way. It’s certainly one of the tracks I’m most proud of.”
The band recently performed live on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show from Maida Vale for ‘Rocktober’, along with Enter Shikari and Deaf Havana.

From the dark depths of South London come the four distinguished gentlemen that combine forces to create the emotional powerhouse that is Mummy. Funny, angry, sexy and everything in-between. Mummy add fuel to the punk revival happening in the UK music scene with immense amounts of fun, they’re young, lively and full of raw power. Live they are an immersive treat and the debut E.P released after supporting Slaves on their current UK tour blasts between their social commentary and a more sensitive side which gives mummy an all round greatness.
