Dylan O’Brien and co are set to start filming the final The Maze Runner movie again early next year…
Finally, it looks as if 20th Century Fox is ready to order a resumption of filming on the final film in The Maze Runner series, Maze Runner: The Death Cure.
If you’re not up to date with what’s happened thus far, the film had begun shooting, but back in March came the news that its star, Dylan O’Brien, had been seriously injured on set. So much so, that filming was immediately halted, and no timetable given for it starting up again.
The full details of O’Brien’s injuries haven’t been released, but at first, there had been plans to resume production on the movie in May. Sadly, O’Brien’s injuries were such that this was impossible. As such, the crew were dispersed until a new date could be settled on.
Now, finally, comes the news that Maze Runner: The Death Cure will resume filming in February 2017, ahead of its new release date of January 12th 2018. Wes Ball is still directing, and will finish off the movie.
