Doctor Strange

YES!! It is has FINALLY been confirmed. Just moments ago, after months of ‘is he? Isn’t he?’ online debating and intense speculation, news via Marvel has reached our ears that the Sherlock actor and super star of the moment Mr Benedict Cumberbatch is officially going to play Doctor Strange in Marvel Studios on-screen comic book adaptation.

The news comes following the ‘phase 3’ marvel event which was held on October 23rd and hosted by Marvel’s President and executive producer-Kevin Feige P.G.A where a whopping 11 new films were named as either in ‘pre-production’ or ‘in-development’ leaving fans worldwide ecstatic and almost breaking the internet with hype. Mr Cumberbatch who can currently be seen in ‘The Imitation Game’ is in good company and joins a whole host of A-list actors who are already a part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) including Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and more recently Paul Rudd, James Spader, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen. We would like an invite to that Christmas party please!
