The Flash movie has three faces on its shortlist for the lead female role, led by Kiersey Clemons…
The movie of The Flash has long cast Ezra Miller in the title role, and he (briefly) debuted his take on the character in last March’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Furthermore, Rick Famuyiwa – who helmed Dope – is now directing the movie.
The casting for the other roles in the film has begun to ramp up too, and now we learn of the shortlist for the lead female role.
Three names are reported to be in contention, with Kiersey Clemons, who appeared in Famuyiwa’s Dope, said to be the frontrunner. Also in contention though are Rita Ora (50 Shades Of Grey) and Lucy Boynton (who starred in the brilliant Sing Street).
There’s been no official reveal yet as to who the lead female role will actually be. The running rumour at the moment though is that it’ll be Iris West, who is played by Candice Patton on the small screen in The CW’s The Flash series. Also, whoever lands the lead female role in The Flash is likely to debut the part in Zack Snyder’s Justice League film, that’s currently shooting in London.
