After winning a Golden Globe® for Best Animated Feature film, beating The Lion King as the most successful Disney Animation of all time and with a bestselling, No.1 soundtrack* – Disney’s “Frozen” is making its highly anticipated debut on Disney 3D Blu-ray™, Blu-ray, Digital Download and DVD on 31st March 2014.

The global success of the movie brings tremendous joy to directors Chris Buck (“Tarzan”) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, “Wreck-It Ralph”). Jennifer’s contribution has been exceptional having only been with Disney Animation Studios for two years. “Frozen” can also boast remarkable voice talent from the likes of Kirsten Bell (voice of Anna), Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) and Broadway star Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa). The original and unforgettable No.1 soundtrack was sculpted by Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Tony® winner Robert Lopez (“The Book of Mormon”) with the original score by Christopher Beck (“The Muppets,” Oscar®-winning short “Paperman”).

Discover the history behind the original concept of “Frozen” from exclusive artwork by Marc Davis, to the contribution of Walt himself through the bonus feature, ‘D’frosted’. Also included in the frosty extras is ‘The Making of Frozen: The Musical’; a magical musical tour of Disney Animation Studios, with hosts Kirsten Bell and Josh Gad, right from your living room directed by Kenny Ortega (“High School Musical”, “This Is It” and “Hocus Pocus”). Accompanying “Frozen” on the Disney collectable Blu-ray™ & DVD is the Disney Animation Studios’ short, “Get A Horse!”. With Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey Mouse, the all-new short features Mickey and his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse.

Disney’s “Frozen” has taken the world by snowstorm with its accredited animation and musical success, this includes taking home a Golden Globe® for Best Animated Feature and two Critics Choice Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Song for ‘Let It Go’. “Frozen” can also wrap its scarf around Academy Award nominations for Best Song and Best Animated Feature, also a BAFTA® nomination for Best Animated Feature.

In this heart-warmingly icy tale, fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Mickey and Horace are forced through the movie screen into the theater, emerging as color, CGI version of themselves.
