As the home of human ingenuity, welcoming over 3 million visitors a year, the Science Museum aims to make sense of the science and technology that shapes our lives. From 8 November the museum will be showing this year’s hottest Oscar tips – award-winning director Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated space epic Interstellar – in its IMAX Theatre. As one of only 4 venues in the UK to show the film in Nolan’s intended 70mm IMAX film format, you will experience 40% more film image that will be hidden on screens of large cinema chains.
Based on the scientific theories of renowned theoretical physicist, Kip Thorne, Interstellar follows a team of explorers as they undertake the most important mission in human history. The explorers journey through a wormhole in space to save humanity in this mind-bending sci-fi.Interstellar features an outstanding cast led by Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) and Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) with previous Nolan collaborators Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Rises) and Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables).
Three lucky competition winners will receive a pair of tickets for an Interstellar screening of their choice at the Science Museum IMAX Theatre this November.
