The next Jurassic Park film, that we’re calling Jurassic World 2 until told otherwise, begins filming early next year, with new director J A Bayona on board. He’s going to be working from a screenplay by the Jurassic World team of Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
Thus far, we know that both Chris Pratt and Bruce Dallace Howard are reprising their roles from the last film. And now we have the first news of fresh meat for the new movie.
Toby Jones, seen this year in Dad’s Army, Morgan and the excellent TV adaptation of The Secret Agent, has signed up for dino duties. As too has Rafe Spall, who popped up in The BFG and Swallows And Amazons earlier this year.
It’s unclear as of yet who the pair are playing. Variety also reports that there are a pair of key roles in the new movie that haven’t yet been cast.
Jurassic World 2 arrives in cinemas on June 22nd 2018. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…
