We’re just trying to clear up a little confusion as to when Logan, the final Wolverine movie, lands in the cinemas. The official release date is March 2nd in the UK, but we’ve also seen ‘February’ and March 1st listed. We’ll confirm when we know.
In brighter news, we now have a couple of fresh images from the movie, and perhaps more importantly, the official synopsis. The latter was Tweeted out by Hugh Jackman from his Twitter account, and it reads like this…

Simon Kinberg told Collider that The Wolverine 3 “takes place in the future, and as you and others have reported, it is an R-rated movie. It’s violent, it’s kind of like a western in its tone. It’s just a very cool, different film”. This draws one specific comic book arc to mind – Old Man Logan.
In Mark Millar and artist Steve McNiven’s original Old Man Logan comics, a dystopian future world was ruled over by supervillains. Logan lived in the shadows, ashamed that he’d let this happen, until Hawkeye took him out on an adventure which eventually led to confrontations with The Red Skull and an evil version of The Hulk.
