The Mummy: Behind the scenes

Things had gone a bit quiet on the old (new) Mummy movie. We know we’re about three months away from getting a full look at the new direction of the rebooted franchise, but so far we’ve only had one trailer for the film – and some of you may remember that even that went a bit wrong, after it was accidentally uploaded with the music missing.

Now, though, we’ve been granted a little look behind the scenes on The Mummy with a brand new featurette. It’s got Cruise and Annabelle Wallis (Peaky Blinders) preparing to do the Zero-G sequence we saw in last year’s trailer, while director Alex Kurtzman (People Like Us) tries to wrangle the whole thing together inside a very small window of time.

Have a look below…

The Mummy will be in cinemas June 9, 2017. Originally, the film was scheduled to arrive on March 24 of next year, but after Star Wars Episode VIII was delayed from its May 26 release to December 2017, June became a lot more appealing for Universal.
