Nordic Noir Magazine is a new bi-annual publication from Arrow Films’ Nordic Noir label, bringing the best of Scandinavian crime, thriller and drama to the UK to own and rent via all home entertainment platforms.
The magazine will be inserted into all of our future Nordic DVD’s and Blu-rays and will also be distributed physically in Scandinavian themed bars and cafes nationwide. The magazine features commissioned articles from acclaimed specialist in the subject, Barry Forshaw, alongside articles submitted to us by several writers and bloggers, who follow our brand on Twitter. We are, however, very pleased to be able to provide everyone with an opportunity to read the inaugural magazine ahead of its print-run by means of a nifty flick-book application which can be accessed here: http://snack.to/fdkfg3mk. Please do leave a comment and let us know what you think and if you like it please do share it via the social media buttons contained within the app.
Nordic Noir is home to the very best in Scandinavian crime, thriller and political drama to own or rent on DVD, Blu-ray, Download and On Demand, and series released on the imprint include; the BAFTA Award winning series The Killing and Borgen as well as The Bridge, Wallander and the forthcoming Arne Dahl. The label is also moving into film with releases including The Hunters and False Trail already available and the latest film from the writer of Borgen and The Hunt, A Hijacking, released in UK cinemas on May 10th.
