After a wonderful summer series of events, Pop Up Screens invite you to come and find out ‘what goes bump in the night’ with a run of spine-chilling screenings of your favourite Halloween cult classics. The twisted, gory story of ‘Saw,’ vintage slasher ‘Scream,’ dark fantasy ‘Hellraiser’ as well as the ghoulish tale ‘Beetlejuice’ make up this autumns cinematic selection. Running from the 31st October through until the 3rd of November; the eerie, superb setting of St James Church, West Hampstead will play host to the events; promising to provide spectators with a truly unique Halloween experience.

It won’t just be the trick or treaters dressed up to impress this ghosting season; venue St James Church will be transformed into a hair-raising setting for the screenings, complete with cobwebs, pumpkins and even a few more surprises than you’d bargain for. Also catered for are all your tasty needs; with a fully stocked bar to quench your thirsts, and of course, no blood curdling cinema experience is complete without popcorn; provided by Drum and Kernel Popcorn (http://www.drumandkernelpopcorn.co.uk/)

Tickets to all Halloween events are available in advance from http://www.popupscreens.co.uk/, priced at just £14 each for an evening of frighteningly fun entertainment. Door open at 7pm with screenings for all events starting at 8pm, and availability is limited so grab tickets whilst you can!

Pop Up Screens founder David Leydon said: “This year we’re ramping Halloween up and turning it into a proper experience, so to get in to watch one of our scary movies, which are going to be in a fantastic red brick church, you’ve first got to run through our haunted churchyard where you’ll meet the talking cherubs, our full size skeletons, a couple of dozen pumpkins and all the little surprises that are going to go bump in the night.  This year we’re going to make Halloween screenings more then putting up some paper skeletons and a rubber spider or two.

Whether its indulging in a scream-fest with friends, a memorable date experience or purely the chance to enjoy one of your favourite long forgotten horror flicks, you’re in for a treat (or trick) with Pop Up Screens. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this horrifying experience – just be warned, you’d better be careful who’s hand you’re holding in the cinema this Halloween.
