In the hilarious role-reversal comedy, The Stag, we meet Finnoàn (Hugh O’Conor) – the kind of modern man who really doesn’t like stag do’s, but would happily attend his fiancé’s Hen. Concerned bride-to-be, Ruth (Amy Huberman), persuades the best man, Davin (Andrew Scott), to at least ‘get him up a mountain’, despite it being the middle of November. Reluctantly, Finnoàn agrees but proceeds to do everything he can to stop Ruth’s notoriously Alpha-Male brother, known only as ‘The Machine’ (Peter McDonald), coming along and ruining their weekend. However, not one to miss out, The Machine tracks them down and guides them on a hilarious and heart-warming journey of self-discovery in the wilds of rural Ireland.
