Nicole Kidman has been talking about her new film Stoker, at its premiere in London.
The film is the first English language movie made by Korean director Park Chan-Wook, of Old Boy fame.
Kidman plays the hapless alcoholic mother of a confused young teenager called India, played by Mia Wasikowska, in the days following the death of the father of the family in a car crash.
Asked how she unwound after a busy day of filming the actress said: “Go home and go to sleep. Luckily for me it was a supporting role. I had a lot of downtime, and we shot it in my home town – Nashville.”
Stoker is released in the UK from 1 March 2013.
