Seth MacFarlane’s comedy sequel Ted 2 has found its female lead, with Amanda Seyfried set to star opposite Mark Wahlberg.
According to Deadline, Seyfried will play Wahlberg’s primary love interest, with Mila Kunis likely only to return in a small role, if at all.
The report claims that the casting represents a creative decision on MacFarlane’s part, with he and regular Family Guy star Kunis remaining close, as opposed to having had any kind of fall-out.
Seyfried recently collaborated with MacFarlane on comedy Western A Million Ways To Die In The West, set to open in the UK in May.
As well as directing the sequel, MacFarlane will also return to voice the titular teddy, with Ted 2 scheduled to open in the UK on 10 July 2015.
