Cars 3 early character details
The plot this time around sees Lightning McQueen – voiced again by Owen Wilson – still in the world of racing, only this time, things are getting even tougher. As such, he needs a trainer, and she comes in the form of Cruz Ramirez. As now-confirmed director Brian Fee (making his directorial debut, having worked, amongst others, on the previous movies) teased, “[McQueen] is not an old man, but he’s one of the older dcars on the circuit with new rookies coming in. People start to wonder and ask when he might return”.
Enter new upstart Jackson Storm, the newcomer to the racing circuit who’s going to be pushing Lightning McQueen, it seems. No word yet on who’s voicing these new characters.
Cars 3 is currently due to arrive in July 14th.
