Bryan Cranston stars in the first image from upcoming screenwriter biopic, Trumbo.
The drama will see the Breaking Bad actor portraying Hollywood scripter Dalton Trumbo, who found himself on the wrong side of the House Un-American Activities Committee’s communist witch hunt.
Cranston appeared in 2014’s Godzilla, but Trumbo marks his first major leading role since Breaking Bad came to an end in 2013.
With Cranston centre-stage, Trumbo’s cast is filled out with an intriguingly long list of supporting character actors, including Alan Tudyk, Diane Lane, Helen Mirren, John Goodman and Louis C.K.
Directed by Jay Roach (best know for Austin Powers, and political TV movie Game Change), Trumbo is expected to hit UK cinemas in 2016.
